Finally, I've finished this novel. Michael Crichton seems to have quite a knack for novels pertaining to biology (given that he is an M.D. himself (didn't know that until after I finished)).
The book is good, mostly. Unfortunately, if you are not interested in biological infections and intense science talk, then this book is probably not for you. As a man who loves his sci-fi, I kept going nevertheless.
The book has an interesting plot, yet it can be a bit dull at points, but the action scenes are very well written. So well written that you'll find that you can't put down the book.
At the end, the book seemed to kind of end abruptly, which I've heard is a bit common for a Michael Crichton novel, but still cool.
All in all, it was a good read. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who fancies sci-fi.
