Spencer looked at the Milky Way Galaxy Stargate in the Midway Station, standing with Bailey in the center of the Gate Room, the Aurora Stargate to their backs, just yards away.
"You ready Spencer?" Bailey asked, looking at the Lt. Colonel, staring at the Milky Way Stargate.
"Yeah, I just don't know if we should be massing the troops before we've even found the weapon's location.
"Well the Phantoms know already, so we need to cut a few corners and head them off on this one," Bailey said, straightening the tie on his blue air force officer's formal suit, Spencer in his regular black jacket, with the hemming on the chest, back, and wrists and patches on the shoulders, with his black pants.
"Don't get me wrong, I'm all for not dieing off alongside the rest of the Universe, but do you really think we should bring the Ori into this? They don't sound very trustworthy from the mission reports I've read," Spencer replied to Bailey, looking at the Stargate.
"We've made the treaty with them after we used the Ark of Truth on the Milky Way and Ori Galaxy, they're regular people like you and me, but we're only using the Priors and their assigned warriors on their ships, we don't want to spread the word of the Aurora Galaxy to everyone in the Milky Way," Bailey said, fixing his tie in the right position.
"I guess you're right. Are we gonna get going anytime soon?" Spencer asked, looking away from the gate.
The scientists working the Control Room must've heard him because the intercom came on over the gate room and Spencer saw the moving lips of a man in a window, roughly three stories above him.
"We're working as fast as we can Colonel, it's a new dialing program and OS, and we're still getting things shipped in, you're basically dialing out through an extremely basic dialing system. If you wanted to get to Earth faster, you should have used the ZPM," an annoyed Kavanagh said from the Control Room, "it's not our fault if..."
Spencer raised his hand, smiling at the Control Room, "as long as we end up at the SGC eventually Doctor, I'll be fine!" Spencer got a grim look on his face, "but we could all die at any minute now."
Kavanagh ran from the window and began to type on the large, U-shaped terminal, normally used in the X-304's.
Bailey gave a nervous laugh when Spencer turned to him with the same look, knowing that Spencer was only kidding, but still a bit worried about the grim look.
"Sorry sir," Spencer chuckled, "but we've been standing here for the better part of an hour and my legs are starting to hurt."
Bailey sighed, "just don't do that to the IOA," Bailey chuckled back.
"We're ready now," Kavanagh said over the intercom.
"Thank you Doctor," Spencer called to the window.
The Stargate's chevrons began to light up one at a time in a clockwise order until the kawoosh shot out of the gate and rested into a blue eventhorizon. Bailey and Spencer made their way to the gate and walked through the eventhorizon.

Spencer, Bailey, and a new figure walked out of the Milky Way Stargate in the Midway Station after a day and a half of negotiating with the Ori forces by the Super Gate.
"So, they're... on our side this time, right?" Spencer asked Bailey and the new arrival.
"I think so, they seem to be very grateful to us since you and your team showed them the truth about the Ori," Bailey said, looking at the new arrival, Colonel Samantha Carter.
"Actually, it's his team now," Sam said, pointing to Spencer who kept smiling at her, "is he gonna keep staring at me like that?" she asked Bailey in a whisper as Spencer walked the rest of the way to the Aurora Stargate on the other side of the Gate Room.
"You and the rest of the original SG-1 are his biggest heroes ever since he read over your files, and meeting you is like meeting Santa Claus for the first time," Bailey said to Sam in a whisper.
"Hm, so, is he settling into the title?" she asked.
"Weird, you're like, the third person who's asked that," Bailey said, looking over at Spencer a few yards away.
Sam looked at him too, "SG-1's seen a lot of unique leaders."
"He's got a lot to live up to," Bailey said.
"Are you two coming?!" Spencer called over from the edge of the Aurora Gate's ramp.
"Coming!" Sam called back, "Kavanagh, dial us up!" she called up at the window.
The Aurora gate dialed and opened, the three walked up to the gate.
"Wow," Sam said, putting her hand into the eventhorizon.
"You okay Colonel?" Spencer asked.
"You can call me Sam," Spencer almost giggled like a school girl, but Bailey gave him the look, saying not to be a spazz today, "and I guess I'm just a little nervous, this is my second Expedition to lead, but the stakes were never this high, how did you do it Colonel?" she asked Bailey, who was standing on her right.
"Well I was only filling in until you got here, and I didn't get that much to cut my teeth into, but I figure you can keep them all together with a strong sense of leadership, and a cattle prod," Bailey replied.
The three laughed as Spencer rubbed his right shoulder. Spencer took his radio out from his pants pocket and spoke into it, "Vis Uban, we're coming in, Spencer IDC: 69129611127960, confirm," he then put his radio back into his pocket, "they won't receive the message for roughly 14 minutes or less, but it'll come in before we do."
"Vis Uban?" Sam asked, "I read in the mission reports that it was Ortus Mallum, like the mountain in the Ori Galaxy."
"We actually figured out that that was a mistranslation on our part, plus I like the ring of the words, Vis Uban, Vis Uban, it's so cool," Spencer replied.
"Avius Urbs in Latin, it means Lost City in both Ancient and Latin," Bailey said, looking at a confused Sam.
Spencer gestured for the two go on through the Stargate, and Sam and Bailey, followed by Spencer, walked into the eventhorizon.

The three came out from the Stargate, to meet a dark gate room lit by several white, blue, and green lights.
"Welcome to Vis Uban," Raichel said, making her way down the main staircase and to the gate, "how was the trip?"
"I prefer road trips," Bailey said, walking up the main staircase with Spencer and Sam to Sam's new office.
Sam was led across the walkway to her office, she sat her backpack down that she had strapped on her shoulder.
"Your things are already here and in your quarters Colonel," Raichel said, walking up behind them into the office, "you're all set for your stay."
"Thank you Major," Sam replied, sitting at the chair behind the desk, "home sweet home."
Spencer walked into the Control Room, meeting up with Rite, his eyes were blood shot and his hair shaggy.
"Any luck Rite?" Spencer asked.
Rite lifted up his head, tired from more than three days of continuous search through the Vis Uban database.
"Nothing yet," he said dazed, "it's like the database gets even larger every time I get into a new section."
Spencer sighed as he and Rite went to go tell Sam the bad news.
"Hm, that's unfortunate," Bailey said, leaning against one of the walls of the office, "but don't we have two Phantom prisoners?"
"What're you suggesting?" Sam asked.
"I think I know what, but I don't think Colonel Carter will be very enthusiastic about it," Spencer said.
"What?" Sam asked.
"I'm suggesting that we ask our Phantom prisoners, and if they won't tell us, then we give them a bit of encouragement," Bailey said.
"Saix doesn't know," Rite said.
"Who?" Spencer, Bailey, and Sam all asked at the same time.
"Saix, he's the Phantom scientist, he's been really cooperative. I asked him and he honestly doesn't know," Rite replied.
"I don't really think we can trust him though, can we?" Sam asked.
"I don't think he'd bother to help me search the database so much if he was planning to hold back information, he's pretty grateful that we took him with us, but I think that the other Phantom knows," Rite said, sitting down on one of the white cushioned armchairs lining the walls and laying his head back.
"Giests," Raichel added.
Rite looked at Raichel who was now standing in the door way, "what?"
"We had a meeting classifying them," she replied, "but I think you fell asleep. Phantom is the umbrella term we use for all these Anti-Alterans, Giest is the term we use for their soldiers, the cloaked guys. Polter is what we call the scientists, like Saix."
"Is that all their ranks?" Sam asked.
"Yes, but we've only met them so far," Raichel replied.
"But what I'm saying is Saix doesn't know, and the, uh, Giest most likely does," Rite said, leaning his head back again.
"I don't think he'll just answer us, I think he's pretty pissed that we tricked him then locked him up," Spencer said, standing by Bailey.
"If he doesn't, there are ways to get him to tell us," Bailey mentioned.
A dark feeling went over the room, "you mean torture," Sam stated.
"It may be the only way," Spencer said, walking closer to her desk.
"We can't just torture someone," Raichel whispered from the doorway, stepping into the office. The clear screen door closed automatically as she stepped in.
"They know where the weapon is, we need to destroy it at all costs," Bailey said, lifting himself off of the wall.
"The GENIVA convention says," Raichel started.
"Not to have to quote Colonel Sheppard," Bailey said, looking at Raichel "but if the Phantoms were at the GENIVA convention, they would've massacred everyone there."
"There's got to be another option," Sam said.
"There is, but a lie detector or drugs to loosen his tongue would take to long to get here, from the SGC, they could've already activated the weapon by then," Spencer said, looking at Sam.
Sam closed her eyes, "I'm here for five minutes and I have to decide whether or not to torture a prisoner. You're sure there's no other way?" she asked.
"No," Bailey said.
"What do you think Rite," Sam asked.
"I've been up for three and a half days and I'm not even sure where I am, I don't think my opinion's valid right now," he said, lifting his head.
"Fine, but we give him a choice to tell us before we go through with this," Sam said, getting up from her desk.
Spencer, Bailey, Sam, Raichel, James, Breaux, and five marines walked into a room lined with rotating Lantean doors, just like the Briefing Room. When Spencer entered through the rotating door, he saw a man stripped to a pair of green SG marine pants and a jacket, surrounded by ten SF's, each holding a black disk shaped object with the words, "ANTI-PHANTOM DEVICE," written on a label stuck to the disks.
Each person who entered the room was given one of the APD's.
"It's an alteration of the Anti-Prior Device, it cancels out his ability to turn into his mist form," James said to Sam.
"Thank you Lt, but I was the one who made the device," Sam said, walking into the room and closer to the man sitting in the chair behind the small table, "hello," Sam said to the Phantom.
"What do you want?" the Phantom snarled.
"Spencer's right, he is pissed off," James whispered to Bailey.
"I want to know where the weapon is," Sam said.
"I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about," the Phantom said in a sarcastic tone.
"Alright, I'm giving you one chance," Sam said to the man, "we know your people know the location of the weapon, and we want to know where it is, tell us the coordinates to the planet, and we may even let you go."
The Phantom gave out a blood curdling roar of laughter, "and why would I do that?"
"Because if you don't," James said, walking closer to the Phantom, "then we'll make you tell us." James leaned up against the table, "so, do you wanta tell us something Phantom?"
"No," the Phantom said, looking straight at James, "and nothing you can do will change my mind."
"That's where you're wrong," Spencer said, taking a Zat gun from one of the SF's.
"Sam, I think you should leave, it's not gonna be pretty," Bailey whispered to her. she saw James grab his M9 from his side and point it at the Phantom's head, "now, where is the planet?" James asked.
"I'll be fine Colonel, thank you," Sam said to Bailey, watching the Phantom.
The Phantom refused and Sam watched James pull back his hand swipe the M9 across the Phantom's face.

Samantha Carter and Bailey stood in Sam's office, "I'm really sorry about this Colonel, if there was any other way, you know I wouldn't have done this," Bailey said, sitting across from her in front of the desk.
"It's fine Joseph, the time you were on Atlantis, you disobeyed orders every now and then, but I kept you there because I thought that was an important thing to have, would you ever take command," Sam replied, leaning over the desk.
Spencer walked into the room through the bulkhead on the side of the office.
"Did you get the information?" Sam asked.
There was a long silence over the room as Spencer looked at Sam, "I got a gate address," he said.
Bailey, Spencer, and Sam made their way to the Control Room, "Chris," Bailey said to one of the gate technicians in the Control Room, "I need you to dial this address and ready a MALP."
"Got it," Chris Morris, the new technician from the SGC said, taking a small piece of paper Bailey gave him, with the address on it.
Spencer walked to the balcony overlooking the Stargate and watched the glyphs whirl around the inner-ring.
"And chevron 7 is," Chris announced enthusiastically as the last glyph whirled around the gate, "not locked," he said as the glyph hit the top of the gate and gave a shutdown noise. "The address is bogus sir," Chris said, sitting back down in his chair.
"So he gave us a crap address," James said, walking up the staircase in the back of the Control Room, "do you want us to go ask him again," he asked Sam.
"No," Sam said.
"Wait, what if the gate's active?" Spencer asked.
"Well the Dakara weapon used the Stargate to send the blast, they might have already sent it," Sam said, folding her arms.
"No, Sven's patient, but not that patient, he wouldn't send the blast to each planet one by one. He wants to kill all the humans in this Universe," Spencer said, walking from the balcony.
"So we can safely assume he's gonna use the gate's to launch his attack," Bailey said, "but there are humans that developed on planets that weren't given a gate."
"Yeah, but he'd need the macro that we used to destroy the replicators to open all the gates at once anyway," Sam said.
Spencer got up quickly, "they scanned Sheppard's team for all kinds of information, including Earth's address, what if they found the macro's location?"
"Why would he not just take it from McKay's mind or someone else's?" James asked.
"Maybe McKay didn't know the macro, but I can garuantee you that he'd be able to figure out where to find it," Spencer said.
"Which would explain why he didn't activate the weapon immediately," Sam said, walking to Spencer.
"Which would mean he'd head straight to the SGC!" Bailey announced.
The three looked at each other, surprised and almost scared.
"The SGC put up jammers preventing the Phantoms from knocking them out with an EMP again, it activates the second the gate activates, and the waves cancel each other out," James said, a little scared.
"But they can build dozens of battle cruisers at a time, they would just go there themselves," Bailey said, looking at James.
"We need to contact the SGC, now!" Sam yelled at Chris.
Chris nodded and began to dial Earth.
"We'll need to contact Atlantis after that," Spencer said.
"Why," Sam asked.
"I think I know how they can get us a ship," Spencer said.
"Daedalus or Apollo? They'll be coming either way," Bailey asked.
"Neither," Spencer replied.

Colonel Sheppard sat in the Captain's Control Chair on the bridge of the Lantean ship, Tria.
"Is the hyper drive up yet?" he asked Zelenka who was standing at one of the terminals lining the bridge's walls.
"Uh, one moment, let me ask Rodney," Zelenka replied, picking up his radio from one of the chairs, "Zelenka to McKay, is the hyper drive active yet?"
A loud crash came from the radio and a yell, several swears, and then an annoyed voice, "I told you five minutes ago Sheppard, no it isn't!" McKay yelled over the radio.
Sheppard grabbed the radio from Raddick Zelenka, "Rodney, what was that crash?"
"When you contact me when I'm focusing on fusing conduits with an extremely hot blow torch, I'm bound to be surprised and fall from the ten feet I'm suspended on!" Rodney yelled over the radio again.
"McKay, that Sven guy is gonna be at Earth soon, we need that hyper drive up now, Daedalus and Apollo are already there, come on!" Sheppard yelled over the radio in turn.
"Maybe you'd like to try fixing the hyper drive Colonel," McKay said annoyed over the radio.
"Rodney, this is a party we can't be late to, hurry up," Sheppard replied over the radio.
"Sheppard, we were lucky to find the ship period, if the Ancients that inhabited Atlantis after we rescued them hadn't left the location of the ship in the database, we wouldn't of had the slightest clue where it was, I have to splice the experimental Puddle Jumper hyperdrive with the damaged one, even then, it might not even work," Rodney said.
"Just get it done, how are weapons?" Sheppard asked.
"Weapons, shields, all other primary systems and most secondary systems are up, it's just the hyper drive, crap!" Rodney called over the radio.
"What?!" Sheppard called back.
He heard a sigh from the radio, "I burnt my finger," Rodney said.
Sheppard sighed back.
"But the hyper drive's up now, we can activate the ZedPM," Rodney continued.
"Alright, everyone to battle stations, all systems up, activate the ZPM, all hands ready for hyperspace travel," Major Lorne, standing in the bridge as well, called over the ships intercom.
Sheppard sat in the chair and slapped his palm onto the top of a blue lit pillar-shaped panel.

Once everything was prepared, Major Lorne stepped closer to Sheppard.
"Sir, do you think we'll make it in time?" Lorne asked.
"Well the Aurora Expedition contacted us four hours ago. So with the intergalactic hyper drive, the ZPM that was already here, and the fact that we were in the void between galaxies, we should be able to get to Earth in a day and a half, maybe less," Sheppard said.
"Let us hope that we are not too late," Teyla Emmagon added, climbing down one of the ladders in the bridge to meet Colonel Sheppard.
"If these guys are so good at what they do, why do they need our help?" asked Ronon Dex, walking onto the bridge from a bulkhead in the back.
"Well, it's the SGC that needs our help, plus if these guys are gonna bring extra ships, they'll need all the fire power they can get," Sheppard said.
"I have never heard of an ancestor filled with so much hate," Teyla said, "all the stories I've ever heard were of kind and caring people, never someone who wanted death to his enemies so badly."
"We don't even know for sure if they're gonna come," Ronon said.
"You were there Ronon, they scanned our minds and they want the macro. Plus, we're not exactly defenseless at Vis Uban or Atlantis, we've got ATA gene holders and Jumpers at each base," Sheppard said, leaning his head back to look at Ronon.
"I only hope we can get there before Sven," Teyla said.
Sheppard nodded and looked out to the blue waves flying past them as they flew through hyperspace.

General O'Neill stood in the hot sun on one of the free Jaffa colonized planets.
"We will be able to bring five Hatak vessels to the fight, maybe more" Bra'tak said to him, "they will be partially manned, I assume you won't need ground troops?"
"No, I think we'll be able to catch 'em before they hit the surface," O'Neill said, "we're getting a lot of support from the Pegasus and Aurora galaxies."
"Good, I was told you were to bring me to Earth?" Bra'tak asked.
"Yes," O'Neill said, pointing to the Stargate, "would you care to do the honors Bra'tak?"
"Indeed," he replied, stepping towards the DHD.
O'Neill looked at a large temple, yards away from the Stargate, seeing a beam of light fly from the sky and land in the temple's inside. Shortly after, O'Neill saw another Jaffa make his way to the Stargate.
"The Priors have confirmed that they will indeed be able to fight," Teal'c called to them, walking from the temple.
"Well I think we should head on home then," O'Neill said, pointing to the now open Stargate.
The three walked into the gate.

They burst from the Stargate, greeted by the alarm indicating an incoming wormhole in the SGC.
"Generals!" O'Neill called to General Hammond and Landry as he walked down the Stargate's ramp.
"General!" Landry called back, "how did the negotiations go?"
"Well, there was negotiating, and compromising, but all in all I think it went well," O'Neill said.
"Good work Jack," Hammond said, smiling at the Brigidear General.
"Is Spencer here yet?" O'Neill asked.
"His team and the Sirius are late, but I think they'll be here soon," Hammond said.
"Oy, he and Sheppard better get here soon," O'Neill said, taking his green hat off.
"You're needed in the Antarctic Outpost Jack," Hammond said.
"Yes sir, I suppose there's an aircraft waiting on the tarmac?" O'Neill asked.
"Guess again Jack," Hammond said.
A second later, O'Neill saw a large burst of light cover Teal'c, Bra'tak, and himself.
"Welcome aboard the Daedalus Jack," Dr. Daniel Jackson said to the new arrival, "Teal'c, Bra'tak, it's great to see you both again." Teal'c nodded.
"Daniel, how's Pegasus?" O'Neill asked.
"It's good sir, but Cam, Valla, and I are transferring back to the Milky Way," he said.
"What about Teal'c?" O'Neill asked.
"Well he's already here," he replied.
"Cheeky, why don't we head to the bridge now?" O'Neill asked.
"After you," Daniel said, gesturing them out the door.

"Colonel Caldwell," O'Neill greeted, walking onto the bridge in his SG pants and jacket with patches.
"General, glad to see you made it," Colonel Steven Caldwell replied.
"Yep, always fun being converted into energy and shot thousands of miles into space," O'Neill said, "that the Apollo?"
Caldwell looked out the main window, "yes it is, Colonel Eliss is it's Commander. So, we'll need to brief you before we can send you to the Antarctic Outpost."
"Right then, shall we?" O'Neill asked, gesturing out the door.
As O'Neill said that, the Sergent looked at Colonel Caldwell, "a hyperspace window just opened, it's the Sirius sir."

"Daedalus, Apollo?" a voice came over the Daedalus's radio.
"Colonel Carter, this is Colonel Caldwell, you are clear to enter high orbit of Earth at these coordinates," Caldwell said, typing in numbers on a small screen on the armrest of his chair.
"Carter," O'Neill said, "it's about time."
"It's nice to see you again too sir," Sam said with a chuckle.
"Whatever, Spencer with you?" O'Neill asked.
"Uh, yes, he's right here," Sam said, "say something Sean," O'Neill heard Sam whisper over the radio.
"Uh, Colonel O'Neill?" Spencer asked.
"Spencer," O'Neill called over the radio, "good to finally meet you."
"Uh, you to sir," Spencer said nervously.
Bored with talking to Spencer, O'Neill looked out the window of the bridge again in time to see an Aurora class ship burst from hyperspace. Radio silence was maintained for a few seconds.
"Ready to fire," Caldwell whispered to the Sergent on his left.
"That wouldn't be a good idea," a voice said over the radio, "we wouldn't wanta ruin our only Ancient battle ship."
"Who is this?" Caldwell replied.
"Oh right, alpha charlie niner, Colonel Sheppard," Sheppard replied over the radio, "we're here."
Shortly after Sheppard and his team arrived, several Ori ships and Hatak vessels burst from hyperspace.
"This is Valla Maldoran, I'm currently aboard one of the Ori vessels, hello boys," a voice said over the radio.
Spencer walked closer to the front window of the Sirius and looked at the Ori and Hatak vessels.
"So, I noticed you all are a ship short," Valla said.
"The Odyssey had to leave a little later than us because of maintenance, but they should be right behind us," Sam said.
"Is that you Samantha?" Valla asked.
"Yes Valla, it's me," Sam said, sighing.
"We've got a ship coming in from hyperspace sir," the sergent to the right of Colonel Tucker said, "It's the Odyssey."

"There you are Patton," O'Neill said over the radio.
"Yes sir, we finished fixing the Odyssey just about an hour after you left," Colonel William Patton replied over the radio.
"Now that everyone's here, I think we can start the briefing," Caldwell said, "place all of your representatives on the bridge of each ship and we'll begin inside the Daedalus's briefing room."

PostSubject: Re: Armegedon Part 1 *episode 8*   Thu May 29, 2008 1:00 am

After a few minutes of beaming people in, the briefing started.
Two Priors, Valla Maldoran, Tomin of the Ori, Daniel, Spencer, Bailey, O'Neill, Patton, Tucker, Caldwell, Teal'c, Bra'tak, Sheppard, Rodney, Carter, and several others were gathered into a small room for a mission briefing.
"Alright," Spencer said, walking to the front of the room, "I'll be conducting this briefing."
Spencer placed a flat, circular, object on the long table at the center of the dark room, it showed a holographic screen of flying text.
"This is the macro we used for the Dakara weapon, the Phantoms can easily bend it to their will to let them open all the Stargates that have ever been in this Universe so they can send the weapon's blast, destroying every humanoid life form in this Universe."
"Wouldn't it take too much time to actually get enough power to open a wormhole to the other side of the known Universe?" asked Colonel Patton.
"Well that's what I thought, but Colonel Carter," Spencer said, pointing to Sam, "explained to me that the wormhole used in Stargate travel is located in subspace. Items in Subspace travel much faster than things in this dimension. A mishap a few years back on Atlantis posed the threat of Exotic Particals traveling through Subspace, essentially wiping out a Universe instantaneously."
"Which I want to point out was not my fault entirely," Doctor Rodney McKay said from the corner of the room.
"Yes, well, our guess is the Phantoms know how to bend those Exotic Particles to destroy human life faster through Subspace, making the process almost instantaneous," Spencer concluded.
"Another incident involving a very powerful Gould named Anubis will be crucial to this," Sam said, walking next to Spencer, "Anubis used a device we believe was built by the Ancients. It dials a Stargate and send energy through the wormhole that the Stargate absorbs. Eventually, the gate will have absorbed so much energy that the naquadah it's made of will detonate."
"Won't the Stargate shutdown after 38 minutes though?" Breaux asked.
"Normally yes, but if you pump enough energy through a Stargate, it will maintain the wormhole because the Stargate on the other side will keep absorbing it, powering it. We've been able to find another one of these Stargate over loaders," Sam said, "we're running on the assumption that the Stargate used near or with the Ancient weapon in Aurora is being kept active. While we fight Sven here, we'll send a team to forcibly deactivate the gate."
"Why don't we just send a team to the planet?" a marine asked.
"The macro is the essential key to Sven's plan, if we can keep him away from the macro, we can keep him away from success," Sam replied.
"General O'Neill will operate the Control Chair and Drones in Antarctica while Sheppard's team controls the Tria. All current crews of the Ori, Jaffa, and Earth vessels will stay with their respective ships," Spencer said, walking to the table and taking the small hologram device.
"Who's gonna lead the mission though?" asked one of the crowd.
Sam, O'Neill, Sheppard, Bailey, and Patton all looked at Spencer, "I'll be leading the mission," Spencer said.

President Henry Hase stood in the Pentagon with several of his cabinet and Generals Hammond and Landry.
"We've heard report that a large fleet is headed to Earth from the Alpha Site's Deep Space Sensors," General Landry said to the President, "they'll be here in minutes at the pace they're moving at."
"I guess there's no turning back now Hank," the President said.
"No sir, but we're ready for them, and we're sending our team to take out that weapon as we speak," Landry said.
"Good, let's hope they'll be enough," the president said.

"Alright, we found a near by Space Gate near the cuordinates that the Phantom gave us, it's a system or two away," Rite said.
"That's not very close," Spencer said, following Rite to the Jumper bay.
"But we have a way to get you there," Rite said, opening the door to the Jumper Bay.
"What?" Spencer asked.
"A Puddle Jumper Hyper Drive," Dr. Rodney McKay said from one of the Puddle Jumpers, "I'll be coming with you to make sure it works properly."
Spencer looked at McKay, a little surprised, but followed him into the Puddle Jumper, seeing a small, tower shaped terminal, lined with purple and blue lights.
"So, this is the hyper drive?" Spencer asked.
"It's small yes, but it'll get the job done," McKay said, leaning on the entrance to the Jumper, "it's been improved significantly since we last used it to steal one of the ZedPM's from the Pegasus Replicators."
"You'll be heading out now," Bailey said, walking into the Jumper Bay, "SG-1 and Dr. McKay will take on this mission alone, the primary objective is to shutdown the Stargate and send confirmation, secondary is to destroy as much tech as possible in the complex."
"Roger that," Spencer said walking into the Jumper with the rest of his team and Dr. McKay.
The Puddle Jumper slowly lowered to the gate room and an active Stargate.
"Now I know it's usually Hammond who says this," Bailey said over the radio, "but SG-1, God speed."
"Thanks Joe," Spencer replied as the Jumper thrusted through the Stargate.

The Jumper shot out of the Space Gate, "here we go," Spencer said.

"Here they come," Sam said, leaning forward on the Sirius's Captain's Chair.
Several ships burst from hyperspace and began to open fire, space lit up with the lights from the drones.

"Let's go," McKay said to Spencer.
"Got it."
