Hey guys and gals. I've gotten pretty far in writing my latest book (ie, 63 pages in length) and I thought it would be cool to ask you guys what you think of the story idea.
- In the year 2109 a mission is mounted by an international covenant (US, Monaco, France, Switzerland, England) to send a starship with seven astronauts aboard to Alpha Centauri (roughly 4.365 light-years away, give or take 0.007 light-years), the closest star system to our own. It's aboard a starship named Persephone, a hyper-realistic starship that is comprised of a
rotating-wheel for artificial gravity and a set of blast shields and a payload of antimatter-matter charges, based on
nuclear-pulse propulsion.
- The story surrounds the idea of isolation aboard this spaceship for two years (from the astronauts perspective because of time dilation while moving at near-light speed), and an attack by an almost alien energy-matter lifeform that terrorizes them, starting halfway through the voyage.
What do you guys think of the story? And another question: What do you think is a good title?
Thanks for listening to me rant.
See ya.
